Yes, it is swaging tool for swaging five degree taper on aluminum arrows, does all sizes!!!!!!
It originally sold for $325.00 plus shipping!!!!
Approximately 1990!!!!!

Jacques, was that tool made by Vic? I believe he was a tool and die maker. I loved his archery shop,a place where one would spend a lot of time talking archery. I don't know what ever happened to Vic, he's a great guy. He sold my Allen Rothhaar recurve for me through his shop free of charge. Allen Rothhaar built custom recurves and he told me that the late Roger Rothhaar was his cousin. Anyhow that is a great find I would like to see it close up. Thanks for posting

Yes, I believe he was a tool and die maker, it did come from Vic's shop!!! Never have been used, my great fortune!!! Did you ever hear of Everett Garrison??? He was an engineer, who's passion was build and use split Tonkin cane,( (bamboo) flyrods!!!!
Amazing engineeing, the tools and machines he designed, simple superb!!! There is a large book devoted to him and his equipment, fascinating!!!!
