I received a bow today that I’ve had on order awhile. Northern Mist Baraga, 1 piece, 62”, 54#@28”, highly figured Kingwood riser, tempered bamboo cores, beautiful Cherry veneers that look somewhat like a tiger pattern and somewhat burled too. I’ve always had a passion for mild to med R/D designs, Strings up to a D shape. Planning on shooting it tomorrow. Hopefully this will be my hunting bow for this coming season. I see lots of practice ahead.

Those are good shooting bows, I bet you'll love it. I had a 60 incher for a while. Only sold it cause it was too light.

Nice looking bow.  And at 62", it will be easy to shoot from inside one of Tim's blinds down there at London Oaks.  Will be interested in your thoughts on how it shoots after you've had a chance to put a couple hundred arrows down range.

beautiful, sleek and what a graceful bow should look like. how can one not like the simplicity of such a bow? And now it comes to life in your hands. I hope that it is a sheer joy for you to shoot, it would be over bowed for me now but it does make me wish that I had it.

I will have to agree, Steve does a “pretty decent“ job... I am a sucker for osage.E0C88BC3-816B-4FF8-87B7-F3F26EDC2B36_1_201_a.jpeg

The straight-grip riser on this Baraga is a little beefier than what you would find on an ASL. Adds a little mass and still allows to a familiar hold.
