We had a freak snow storm here in northeast Arkansas yesterday. We get snow here, but not too often. And usually not this much in 2 hours. About 3-5 inches, guess it's better than our usual ice storms. Lol . It blew in at 22mph, so it was pretty cool to see it stuck to the sides of trees all the way up. Anyway, this morning decided to take a little walk with my Frank Eicholtz "Ike" to possibly get some stumping in and just to look at critter tracks. Well, all the stumps where covered in the snow so only a few shots taken. But still a beautiful day even if it was a balmy 25 degrees. Here are a few pictures of our trek.

Balmy is right. It’s -10 here this morning with -22 wind chill. Took the dogs out and my jeans felt like cardboard after about 30 seconds. Brrrr!

Nice pics.

Yep, we got six or seven inches in a couple hours. Then more the next morning. Fifteen to twenty mph winds and 15 degrees. Hwy 57 shut down and tow trucks were prohibited  from going out to discouraged people from driving. People that got stuck and stranded were on there own. Long line of cars and trucks were stranded for seven hours. After it was cleared, the State Police had to start waking up some drivers to get them going. There's been a fire engine stuck at the bottom of a hill a couple blocks from us since last night.

Screwed me out of the last two days of deer season.
