Hey all,
Looking to get a reverse handle straight grip bow from Steve Turay at Northern Mist.
If you had to choose ONE of these models for the rest of your life, which one would you pick and why?
(Ramer vs Whisper vs Sprague)

Thanks!

I own and shoot his Whisper with a straight grip and have shot the Ramer. I like a backset bow as compared to a string follow. Just my preference. I think it’s like splitting hairs though. So I guess it’s the Whisper!

Have owned 3 Ramers, 2 Whispers, and a Sprague. Sprague is my current favorite with Whisper a close second. Prefer a straight grip, but the locator grip on my first Whisper was very nice also.

I started shooting an ASL 2 months ago after 30 years of recurves. I got a 66” Sprague. My barely 27” draw has turned into almost 29”. I’m sure a 64” would be sweet with a 27” draw.

Just looked at all the new ones. He's certainly been busy. Glad most of the ones I really like are just a little heavier than I am shooting right now. Or left-handed. Just sold my 70", #50 Classic so maybe it's time to get back on the list for a 66-68" American or Classic in the mid-40s.

Ramer. Whisper a close second. I really like the Sprague, but I haven't spent enough time with one to really develop a concrete opinion. I know they are screaming fast at my draw length. The Ramer is just right in my sweet spot for performance, sound, and smoothness. It's just my favorite. Partially due to my long draw. String follows are still very fast at 30.5"
