I call this one Unlucky Ewe. I was hunting from a ground blind when this Ewe came in with several others. After watching it for several minutes it turned broadside. The left leg kept blocking the kill area. Once the leg moved forward it was time to shoot. I shot and the arrow hit high. It didn’t feel good so I waited before leaving the ground blind. It was late so I thought it would be best to wait until the next day. That night we had torrential down pour. At that point my chance of tracking this Ewe dramatically decreased because the blood trail would be washed away. The Ewe was about 60 yards away from where I shot it. The arrow was found about 30 yards from where I shot it. With all that rain and the high shot,
I named this Aoudad Ewe, “ Lucky Me and Unlucky Ewe”.

I hunted this Aoudad Ewe while at London Oaks Ranch. Tim King has a fantastic property and camp had all the accommodations one would need.

I was shooting a Bear Limited Edition Takedown, Black Eagle Arrows, and Muzzy Phantom Broadheads.

Mighty fine looking bow and animal Darren, only 60 yards from the shot, the hit was better than you thought.
I have had the same experience on white tails. Good job

I think Tm said they need a lot of seasoning. Lol

I’m having a European mount done with this one.
