I have a Pete George Timberline longbow that is in need of a good home. Mr. George was tought by John Schulz. The bow is "The Highlander" model, all Yew with black glass, 68" 64# @ 28".

I had talked with Nate Steen (Sunset Hill) a year or so ago about having the weight reduced and a refinish, he agreed to it but I never followed through. He is the one you would want to do the work, as he is "The Man" when it comes to the "Schulz school" of bows and his prices are more than fair.

As is , the bow is rock solid, it has the usual small nicks and light scratches you would expect for its age. It has a good B50 has tip wedges, so it may tolerate a "FF", but I didnt feel the need to try shot wonderful as is...and I run FF on all my other bows.

I'm asking $350 shipped in the Cont USA

...I can email you a lot more pics if your interested

"Indeed as grown men we can be almost childlike in our wonder at the whoosh of the arrow as it speeds away, the eons of history behind us no doubt gently laugh along with us at such small joys. . . seemingly so insignificant amidst the daily grind, the over commercialism of the outdoors Industry, but so alluring to the most romantic of ourdoorsman, champions of fair chase and bastions of adventure—the longbowmen!
