Howdy Y'all, Anyone happen the have a JimBow from Ohio. I guess they where a father/son team ?. Buddy was telling me about them. I never heard of them before. Buddy was saying there pretty simple bows. In the Hill style ? 
If anyone has one I'd sure love too see some photo's and or catalog ?

Cody, The guy that made those bows was a friend of mine, Charlie Williaford. He would come to Florida driving his RV with wife. He built a bow for the working man. In the 90’s his bows were 200.00. He passed away maybe 10 years ago. I don’t know that his son took over the business.

I worked in Southern Ohio in the late '90's and early 2,000's living in Pike County close to where the bows were made. They were good bows. As mentioned they were no frills usin' bows, but they were good ones.

To my knowledge they are not being made any more. But, if you get hold of some of the guys at the Jackson Bowhunters Club I'll bet they can tell you.

I remember asking Charlie if he son was going to take it over. He was unsure, it didn't seem like the son was interested. I had Charlie make me a custom ASL takedown, boy was that a sweet shooter. He used bamboo and osage on that longbow.
