Was able to take my new Java Man Impala Supreme out to the 3D practice range for the first time yesterday.  Bow is 68", #42@28", with a Micarta riser and Myrtle limbs. Seems to work fine with wood arrows across a mix of spines and point weights. Also likes 27" 600 carbons with 145gr points. Bow has just enough mass weight to compensate for my occassionally shakey bow arm. Others may feel differently, but I think I definitely prefer the heavier Supreme over the standard Impala that I was shooting earlier this year. Will be taking it back out next Sunday for a scored 3D round at a local club. Hoping the numbers show I actually shoot the bow a well as it feels like I do.

Great looking bow!
curious what the mass weight is?
was shooting my fox triple crown the other day (I have heard they are similar) and it got me thinking about an all micarta triple crown

Mass comes in at an even 42 oz.

Bob, My Impala Express has cross carbon on the back of the limbs and unidirectional carbon underneath. Is there carbon under the Myrtle lamination?

Great looking bow! I like more mass weight.

That bear looks like he's ready to feast on some berries.

Thanks Clyde. Don't know about the brear, but we gathered 9-10 cups worth of raspberries and blackberries from the park earlier this week. Brynnen turned most of them into a pie and I'm putting what's left on top of vanilla ice cream.

Shot the Supreme for record this morning and got just enough 10's for a personal best on this particular club's 3D course. Won't mention the 2 complete misses. We're having the summer league championship next weekend, but, truth be told, my only chance to win the Trad class is if Santo has to work....

I found a lot of blackberry bushes around the ponds I've been fishing. Told my grandson that him and my daughter should check them out because it appeared like there was going to a lot of them.
