I have the 66" model from the mid to late 60's.  They are pretty nice I'll say that.  It is 51#@28" but in reality is probably a couple of pounds heavier.  Anyways haven't really considered selling it cause I've had it for so long.  It had camo paint front and back but stripped it off the front and am leaving it on the back.  I just put the new Howard string on it.  keeepm sharp

The bow pictured is 50# and could be for sale if someone is interested. I have two others in lighter weights that are more friendly to me these days.

In my opinion, there are few bows that could match this one for beauty.  And just think about it, I could have purchased one in 1976 for around $130.00.  Now all I can do is fantasize about those days long past.

You are indeed one fortunate archer.  Of course, I am envious.

Do any of you have a full length picture of your Howard bow unstrung? I have found lots of pictures of the risers and several on here with the bow strung, but I would love to see the unstrung  profile. He advertised as the worlds fastest bow and it made me start wondering about the deflex and reflex in his bows.

Thanks!

When I was a young teen (a verrrrrrrrry looooooong time ago) I would sometimes use my paper route money to send away for archery catalogs. Jack Howard's being among them. If I remember correctly I only had to send a postal stamp or two. I can still remember drooling over what I thought were the most beautiful bows in creation. Still believe they are stunning. Functional Art. There is a good article on one of the other Trad sites where Mr. Howard describes his use and advantages of using a sight. Thanks for sharing your new bow Yehaw, its brought back many found memories.

Yehwa...not pushing in any way, just a very gentle reminder of a full length picture of your bow unstrung. Thanks again for your offer.
