This new Impala Express with all the bells and whistles, and it lives up to it’s name! The Express is both quick and stable.

Clyde, I want too. 😂

I gave Gregg the design idea for this longbow 2 years ago. As of now the Impala is his #1 selling longbow.

Saw this on FB as well. Really like the bow and since I probably not shoot in IFAA or WA competition the extra zip really appeals to me. It may take awhile for me to be ready to order but that bow is on the top of my “A” list.
Before this current crisis a few of us were discussing shooting NFAA rounds agian. Would take me back to my early days of archery before 3D.

Tom, I originally placed an order for an Impala Supreme but now I switched to the Impala Express for the same reason you mentioned. My bow will be first for hunting and second for 3-D.

Darren,  I have been tossing around this “forever” bow situation for awhile now.   I would hunt more but a bad back and old age are catching up to me. I have been looking for awhile now at various bowyers offerings. I like Greg’s bows.

I am in the same situation. Waiting for my number to come up on an Impala Supreme build.  In the meantime, I was able to pick up a used Impala with just the right specs so my Supreme is likely going to become an Express. Probably 66", mid-40's. Now the challenge is thinking through riser and wood combinations. Glad I still have 3-4 months before I have to choose.

It looks like one of the 21st Century Longbows that Jim and Buddy built.

James, Good eye! Since the 21st C wasn’t being produced anymore I approached Gregg with the idea of building the design. Gregg was able to buy a used one from one of our TAS members at the TAS Bowhunter World Championship. We discussed the design in detail and I suggested some improvements. Gregg built a form, named it an Impala and with in 2 years has created 3 Impala models, Impala, Impala Supreme, and Impala Express.

Tim,

If you were to get back into longbows, this would be the one!
