That's as complete a description of how he shoots as i've read.  Some of the wording seems exactly as written in Hunting the Hard Way, but this piece seems to be a magazine article.  Would you mind providing the title and date?

Coyote, that’s it. Copyright is 1957, the one I bought had no dust jacket and I was surprised to see two chapters from him in there.

Greg, some of the photos in the book were taken at Hugh Rich Archery. I have the original photos.

Also, a trivial bit of information...the first printing of the book in 1957, was 6 7/8" x 9 3/4". The second printing in 1965, was 6½" x 9½". Maybe they saved a few bucks the second time around. There was a paperback available, which I believe was of the first printing.

I'M Always amused by folks flipping the negatives.  Turned Howard into a left handed shooter.  Of course, in the layout above, it wouldn't do to have him facing the other way.  Would have him shooting off the cover rather than into it so to speak.

Good picture of him healing the bow here....  Good book I have it too.

Watching an old movie channel last night.  They played a few 15 min. shorts of Howard Hill helping farmers shooting a hawk that capturesd a dove  and a killer hog.  All I could find was this really short clip.
