Well I just got off the phone with Craig at HHA and ordered a Tembo. Slight set back, Amo 68", straight grip, 35# to 40# @ 28". Green glass front and back, normal Bamboo color, CocoBolo riser and right handed. Now the wait should only be couple of weeks of torment. Anyone got pictures of the green glass they are using?

The only time you would need forgiveness would be if you chickened out and didn't place the order. Otherwise, congratulations are in order.

Ordered without seeing the Green Glass! I'm nervous about the tone or color of the Green glass!

I ordered my Tembo with black on the back and green on the belly and gloss finish. The green is so dark it almost looks black in certain light. Very classy!

All the green glass out there is pretty much the same Olive Green from Gordon's.   Maybe there is some different out there from another source.   I know a guy who makes his own custom glass of many colors.  Some cool stuff but most Bowyers don't have the time or inclination to do that.   Wouldn't be practical or economical.

The green glass makes a very nice looking Hill bow. It gives the bow that early 50’s look. I used to own an early 50’s Hill longbow with green woven glass.

Thank you so much for posting the picture of HHA green glass. That has helped a lot. I just knew that their were many different shades of Green and some of them I would care for. I might call back and get all the bamboo caramelized.
