I only have a 50# Bear Montana and a 45# Indian, the later which I bought in 1966.  I don't do well with the Indian, while the Bear does passably well for me. So I guess the long bow is my favorite, even if it isn't as pretty as a lot of the bows I see posted here!

My favorite longbow is a Dwyer Original 64in. 45lb. Favorite recurve is my Brackenburry Drifter. I've had the Brack since the early 80s.

Tough question.  My favorite longbow is idle right now. I wish I could say it is a Hill style bow, but I just snuggle getting consistent with them. (and believe me I have tried)

It is a 66" 40#@28 Big River.  I found it used after shoulder surgery as a rehab bow.  It shoots great but I'm shooting LH now.  Would like to find one just like it in a LH.

Favorite recurve is a Hunter's niche Predator.

I have tried many along the way and enjoy the journey.

Sunset Hill!  My favorite bow was my white Sunset until I switched left handed and gave the bow to someone who needed it more than I.  Nate is going to remedy that situation sometime, but in the meanwhile I've been shooting a Northern Mist American Takedown.  That would be the bow today to get it done.

Like Soap Creek my "favorite" is either of my Dwyer Originals. Both 66" and 48 and 54lbs. However, as I stated in a previous post a recently acquired Morningstar from JD Berry has reset my previous notions of how a bow can shoot. Wow.
If you're talking 3 piece longbows it's a Firefly hands down. 3 piece recurves it's actually a Black Hunter. (I've also had Schafers and Tall Tines [wink]
