Figure we're gonna need a topic like this just in case anyone wants to share a picture of whatever Santa has brought them.

Why look...Two for Mom and one for me.  Sold a couple to make the Christmas gifts possible. Have to be able to argue that there is no "net" change in the number of bows on the racks.

Mine will arrive sometime in the early new year, but a long box from Medical Lake Washington will be heading my way shortly.

My wife told me to put bows "on" the tree.   "Under is out of the question!!"   Enjoy those beauties guys.

It only works if you count the 2 I sold and the Hickory ELB I broke.  One of the bows for my wife is a replacement for the ELB that just happens to be in her draw weight.  So that one shouldn't even count... I think I've got one in the bank.  Yeah, that's the ticket!

Now, now, no peeking. I've already disclosed the ELB.  I will say that the other 2 packages are a longbow and a recurve.  There, now you have to wait, just like me.

Bob what I want to know is how you have the patience not to open the box yet?  You have had it sitting there for at least 3 weeks [smile].   We hope you enjoy it.

The only way I resisted opening the box was that I didn't get back to Virginia where the bow was until this Saturday night.  So i really only had 2 days of will power.

Tracey - The bow is absolutely stunning. My family was awe struck when I took it out of the sleeve. Grip fits great.  Took a couple of quick pictures that don't do the limbs or the riser justice because of the artificial light in my living room.  Headed out to the range with it tomorrow morning come Hell or high water.

Specs:  62", 47# SJR Classic with a custom grip modeled after that on my Rose Oak Primal Instinct bow.  East Indian Rosewood riser with Mappa Burl laminations.

Had to work way too much today, but finally got to stop by the range late today and shoot about 15 targets at 20-35 yards.  Bow is very smooth and quiet and there is no torque in the grip at all.  Thanks for working with me on the grip design. Was shooting 28", 45-50# spine wood arrows with 125 gr field points. Not every arrow was perfect, but here's a representative sample of a typical target.  And another shot of the bow just hanging around.

My 12 year old grand-nephew Christian got a PSE td recurve for Christmas. Was helping him with it today. He's doing pretty well shooting from about 8 yards. He's not really using the sight. I was going to take it off, but didn't have the hex wrench.

Nice looking bow. Nice shooting, as well.
