Well, today was frustrating.  I went out back to get an hour of shooting in and laid my HH Cheetah on my Hammock while I went to pick up the dog terds and a freak gust of wind blew my bow off the hammock and onto the pavers below.  Nothing real bad but a few chips in the back side which bugs the crap out of me!  Especially with the clear glass.

Anyhow, the grip was getting pretty worn and I was contemplating sending it out somewhere to get this fixed, now I am seriously thinking about just getting it refinished and a new grip installed.

My question is, should I send it back to Craig for this or are there better options out there?

It’s you call but I would give Craig first shot. He made the bow.

Yes, I'd check with Craig first. A few years ago I was considering having an older Craig-built Big Five refinished, and his price for a refinish was VERY reasonable. I ended up refinishing it myself, but Craig's price was quite good.

Craig’s Fast and cheap and his finish work is very good. He’s done a few bows for me and he saves all the original writing and leather. Craig’s a solid person and runs a great business!

I sent a bow back to Craig once to rework the grip. I got it back the following week. The guy is amazing!
