Hello everybody,

I got my hands on an Elite Plus for a fair price.
I have searched the Forum about any Information on the Elite Plus Longbow, made by Jerry Hill.
Unfortunately there is not much to be found.
Jerry Hill seems to have killed an Alligator with such a bow. This bow is said to have a Carbonlayer in the backing.

My bow bears the following markings:
50#@28''
AMO 68
#1961

I am interested in the answers to the following questions (and any other information you come up with)
- was every Elite Plus made with Carbon in the back?
- is fastflight stringmaterial an option?
- what is the recommended bracingheight?
- what is the year of production?
- is there a recommended minimum arrwoweigt in gpp?

Thanks for any help

You might try to PM Jerry with the serial #.   I'm sure he will give you some info.  Sheet has recommended brace height.

Here’s one of mine. I have my brace set at 6.25 and i have used 450+ with padded loops on my elite plus and have had good luck with it. I however use b50 on all my bows now.

Wow! What a great community this is!
No guesswork but hard evidence on a bow, that is about a quarter of a century of age.
Absolutely amazing!
Thank you!
