Once again, it's amazing where archery has been.  Thanks Ira.

It is very interesting to see how the practitioner is using  the movement of limbs and joints to draw the bow.  Thank you for sharing.

Notice the line....arm, shoulders, arrow.

Important even back then.

Mike, most of what I have came from Hugh Rich. He saved EVERYTHING archery. Occasionally, some things are from my stash. This one was from his.

Hmmm,

Lotus sitting is a new one for me....I'm well practiced in all the rest. 😉

It seems that all the archery charts, whether from old times or more recently, seem to work on two major principles - meticulous attention to form and practice, practice, practice.

I thought I would add the stretching exercises to my stretch routine at the gym yesterday. I found out real quick I don't have the balance and flexibility for the first three in chart 2. 🙄 I'm sure my lack of push-away excerise ( push away from the table after the first helping) is partially to blame.😬

Thanks for posting.... One thing I really like about this chart is how it demonstrates that archery is a full body physical fitness discipline.... that the art of shooting is integrated into balance and strength from head to foot.  There is certainly a lesson there somewhere.
Thanks!
