LOL Tim. I don't promise to build a wall around instinctive archery and let inside just the chosen ones like this one, who's aiming the arrow though

PS Talking about "aiming the arrow" and mistakenly confounding it with aiming method. It is a new archer at the Club who wants just to use the arrow to hit something. I had 20min and after showing him how to hold the bow without slapping his forearm and talking about a convenient place to hold the arrow at full draw - aka anchor - we went on the course. He wanted to shoot from the trad stake and I moved him to shoot from 10yards. I told him to ignore the arrow relation with the target because he doesn't know the gaps for it and look at the point he wants to hit, execute the sequence correctly and he will hit the target. The arrow is aimed toward the target through form, just find the right place for bow hand using trial and error learning. Long story short, he started to hit closer groups than ever at that distance in short notice. All the time he was fighting the brain - aka using the arrow as reference without having correct data - he was missing. An aiming method is as good as the shooter's executing form.

Webster, your mind is more suited for politics than mine. Inventing things where they are not, creating nonsense disputes and calling everything against "fake news" is what brings votes. I just figure it out and I bid you Good Bye

I wish I could spend a 3 day weekend with Jim Ploen to learn more from him because if I could hand pick a personal coach?....He's The Man!

I have a 66"/40# Blacktail Elite and a 58" Pearson 709 Hunter...The Blacktail is cut well beyond center (with a strike-plate thickness that has my arrows dang near center-shot) and the Pearson is "Cut-To-Center" (which has my arrow a strike=plate thickness PUSHED OUT from center)...I shoot the 58" Pearson Split-Finger with a Glove and I shoot the 66" Blacktail 3-under with a tab but as long as I use a very loose grip (to eliminate bow-hand torque) and line my string up with the arrow and come off the string cleanly?..."Fliers"...are a thing of the past and arrows go where I aim them. 😉
